Mr. Janova brings over two decades of diverse technical expertise to Melange Capital Partners, with comprehensive experience spanning the full energy value chain, including upstream, midstream, and energy transition sectors.

Before joining Melange, Candra held leadership and advisory roles in reservoir engineering at several leading independent oil and gas operators across multiple North American basins.  Most recently, he served as Vice President of Reservoir Engineering at Trace Midstream II, successfully leading the technical diligence for the acquisition of strategic Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and Midstream assets.  Previously, Candra was instrumental in driving development programs, subsurface evaluation, reservoir characterization, and data analytics for Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) and Parsley Energy (NYSE: XOM).  He began his career at Occidental Petroleum (NYSE: OXY), specializing in enhanced oil recovery and production optimization in conventional California fields.

 Candra holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and an MBA with an emphasis in Finance from Pepperdine University.
